Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and CasJam Media LLC, a Connecticut company ("we", "us"), the maker of Flywrite. By buying or using Flywrite, the Flywrite website, or your Flywrite account, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You need an account to buy Flywrite. Keep your login details and license key private, give us accurate information, and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for activity in your account, including team members you invite.
Licenses
When you buy Flywrite, you get a license to install and use the app, subject to these terms. Each seat is a license for one person, and each license can be activated on a limited number of devices, as described at purchase and in the documentation. The app and the website belong to us; your license doesn't transfer ownership of the software. Please don't share, resell, or redistribute license keys, or try to get around the licensing system.
Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment processor. If a renewal payment fails and can't be recovered, your subscription ends. See our Refund Policy for refunds.
If your subscription ends
If your subscription ends, the app switches to read-only mode and stops receiving updates. Your documents remain plain files on your computer, and you can open them in any other app.
Your content
Everything you write in Flywrite is yours. Your documents stay on your computer and in any places you choose to sync them. We don't claim any rights to your content.
Third-party tools
Flywrite can run AI agents and other command-line tools that you install, and can sync with code hosting services you choose. Those tools and services are provided by others under their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.
Acceptable use
Don't use Flywrite or our services to break the law, to interfere with or attack our systems, or to reverse engineer or tamper with the app's licensing.
Disclaimer
Flywrite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to keep Flywrite reliable, but we can't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Please keep backups of important work.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Flywrite. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Flywrite in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Flywrite at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the bottom of this page. If you keep using Flywrite after a change, you accept the updated terms.
