Billing & invoices

Everything billing-related is self-service for account owners: the Billing page handles your subscription, card, and invoice details, and the Payments page holds your payment history and invoices.

Renewal

Flywrite subscriptions renew annually, billed for your current seat count at the rates shown on the purchase page. Seat additions during the year are prorated immediately; seat reductions take effect at the next renewal (see Team & seats).

Updating your card

Update your payment method any time from the Billing page โ€” no need to contact support. The new card is used for all future charges.

Payment history and PDF invoices

The Payments page lists every charge on your account, and each payment has a downloadable PDF invoice.

Custom invoice details

Need a company name, billing address, or VAT/tax ID on your invoices? Set them on the Billing page and they'll appear on your invoices โ€” useful for expensing and tax compliance.

Failed payments and recovery

If a renewal charge fails, your account enters a grace period: the app keeps working normally while we retry and email you a secure link to update your card. Fix the payment and everything continues uninterrupted. If the payment can't be recovered, the subscription ends and the app switches to read-only mode โ€” see Licenses & devices for what that means (your files always remain yours).

Canceling auto-renewal

Owners can cancel auto-renewal from the Billing page. It takes effect at the end of the current billing period โ€” you keep full access until then. We ask for a brief reason when you cancel; it genuinely helps us improve Flywrite. Changed your mind? You can resume auto-renewal any time before the period ends and nothing is interrupted.
