I lost my license key. Where do I find it?

Sign in at account.flywrite.app — your key is right on the License page you land on. Owners can also see every seat's key on the Seats & Team page.

I got a new Mac. How do I move Flywrite over?

Deactivate the old device from your License page, then install Flywrite on the new Mac and activate with the same license key. Note each device can be deactivated once per 30 days — details in Licenses & devices.

What happens to my files if I cancel auto-renewal?

They're yours forever. Flywrite documents are plain markdown files on your disk. Once your subscription ends, the app switches to read-only mode — you can still view and export everything, and any editor can open the files. Renewing instantly restores editing in Flywrite.

A team member left. What do I do with their seat?

Remove them from your account on the Seats & Team page. Their seat returns to your pool automatically, ready to assign to someone else.
