Getting started

Flywrite is sold as an annual subscription, priced per seat. This guide walks you from purchase to your first activated device.

Buying Flywrite

Purchase at account.flywrite.app/buy. Checkout happens right on the page in three quick steps: create your Flywrite account (or log in if you already have one), pick a seat quantity, and enter your payment details — pay by card, Klarna, Cash App Pay, or Amazon Pay. Current pricing and the refund policy are shown on the purchase page.

What is a seat?

Each seat is one license key for one person. Buying one seat covers you; buying several lets you assign a key to each person on your team. Per-seat pricing for every quantity is shown on the purchase page.

The person who completes the purchase becomes the account owner, gets the first seat automatically, and can manage seats, team members, and billing from their account.

The welcome email

Right after checkout you'll receive a welcome email with a link to download the Flywrite app for Mac and instructions for signing in to your account. If it hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

Downloading and activating

  1. Download the app from the link in your welcome email (or from your License page after signing in).
  2. Open Flywrite on your Mac.
  3. On first launch, the app asks for your license key — copy it from your License page and paste it in.
  4. That's it. The device is activated and you're ready to write.

Where to find your license key later

Sign in at account.flywrite.app/login — you land straight on your License page, which shows your key, the download link, and your activated devices. Account owners can also see every seat's license key on the Seats & Team page.
